ONEDRIVE

What is Microsoft OneDrive?

OneDrive is a Microsoft cloud storage service that lets you store your personal files in one place, and get access to them from any Internet connected device that you control. Files in OneDrive "may" also be shared with others, but we recommend Teams or SharePoint for file collaboration.

Best For:

  • Storing files that are in Draft status that are not ready to share with your team
  • Storing files that you never want to share with others, such as information on your health insurance plan, or your PTO tracking spreadsheet
  • Storing personal photos or video files
  • Storing your personal OneNote notebook
